Remember when you wanted everything you currently have january 24 2019 the title to this blog is one of my favourite sayings yet something i have to remind myself of from time to time.

We were newly engaged roughly 10 years ago i don t think there was any idea. I have spent the past few days really reflecting on this quote and being insanely grateful. I remember seeing this quote on kaelin fox s instagram and it immediately struck a chord with me. Remember when you wanted what you now have.

You see what i always wanted i now have and what i always wanted was a family under one roof. I forgot to appreciate that i now had what i wanted to have just a year ago. Remember when you wanted what you currently have. The dream look at these fresh faced happy fun people that did what ever they wanted whenever they wanted.

And as we ve all been told the present is the only moment in which we. I kept going back to the quote and re reading it. Did we really know what was to come. Around this time a year ago my partner and i found out we were expecting our son nico.
