Water covers roughly 70 percent of the earth s surface and is one of the basic elements of nature.
The three major water cycle steps are evaporation condensation and precipitation. Because of this cycle water always exists in all three of those places as well in many forms. Evaporation a process where water disappears because of heat and becomes water vapor. The cycle has four stages as mentioned above.
The water cycle starts with evaporation. There are a number of steps involved in the water cycle. It is a process where water at the surface turns into water vapors. Of the many processes involved in the water cycle the most important are evaporation transpiration condensation precipitation and runoff.
It is sun driven. Water absorbs heat energy from the sun and turns into vapors. The water cycle also known as the hydrologic cycle or the hydrological cycle describes the continuous movement of water on above and below the surface of the earth the mass of water on earth remains fairly constant over time but the partitioning of the water into the major reservoirs of ice fresh water saline water and atmospheric water is variable depending on a wide range of climatic. Together all of the steps help regulate the earth s water supply and climate.

Natural forces such as the sun air land trees river seas and mountains play an important part in completing the water cycle. Water bodies like the oceans the seas the lakes and the river bodies are the main source of evaporation. Hence it does not have a starting or an ending point. The atmospheric water cycle this cycle is based on palissy s work from 1580 and is supported still today as part of the larger picture of our earth s recycling of water.
The water cycle also known as the hydrologic cycle is the continuous movement of water from the earth s surface to the atmosphere and then back to the ground. It involves the processes of evaporation condensation precipitation and collection in basins due to runoff. Thus the water present on earth has been in circulation since the evolution of the earth. Although the total amount of water within the cycle remains essentially constant its distribution among the various processes is continually changing.
This cycle consists of three major steps along with a few additional steps. Water passes through all three states of matter during this cycle. The water cycle shows how water is exchanged through the earth s land ocean and atmosphere.
