In minecraft the main purpose of the clay is the creation of bricks. Instead it will break down into individual pieces of clay. Using a variety of weapons and armor the soldiers will fight to the death to achieve the goal of being the last color team left alive in a battle. Another use for clay is to smelt each piece individually turning them into bricks which in turn can be crafted into a brick block.
Clay blocks can be mined with anything but shovels are quickest. Four pieces of clay ball can be placed in a crafting grid to create a clay block. If broken with a tool enchanted with silk touch it drops itself instead. The weapons and armor have to be provided by the player to the soldiers.
These blocks can subsequently be made into terracotta. It can be mined preferably using a shovel but won t be collected in its block form. Destroying a clay block yields 4 clay balls. The primary use for clay blocks is as a storage item for clay balls.
