Today i found out that the correct term for referring to a group of cats is clowder.
We ve all heard of a pack of wolves and a herd of cattle but did you know that the correct collective noun for a group of cats is a clowder. These two are most commonly used for a group of cats. As we stated earlier cats are domestic animals belonging to the felidae family with over 60 breeds and more having the wild cats as family members it is also known as the house cat or domestic cat.
