We could take a trip to the beach find some woods to stomp in or go somewhere chilled out like a garden centre.
Do whatever the fuck you ve always wanted to do. Go on a day trip. Open that start up. Or if you are more in the camp of feeling trapped and running away the chances are you stick at things bear the discomfort to a degree but feel stuck with it.
We can t run away from life forever but we can run away for a day. Because think about it what do you have to. As an introvert i need a lot of time by myself and tend to feel drained quickly by. Taking a closer look i can see that i was running from at least 3 things.
Coming to see a counsellor can help you work through the symptoms and story and get clear on that and also start to work more deeply into the feelings and needs that are going unmet. I needed a break from people. Focus on your breathing pattern and try to control your mind from. If you have turned to drugs or alcohol as a way of coping with the things you have suffered this will eventually cause even greater harm to you physically and emotionally.
